I think "Do you have tailgate?" is an understatement for this group. :) The PP and I are determined to get to tailgate this year come heck or high water.
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

I am certainly ready and should be in the parking lot by 8 AM.   ;D

I don't know I will be able to get my group out there quite that early...it will likely be closer to 9, but I'll try.

Before 9AM the parking attendants are either not there, or completely ignore you. In which case, morning tailgate is where you see the cars.

After 9AM the parking attendents start waving their flags and you have to decipher where "Friend of Faire" parking is - which is where the tailgate is, vs where the attendants send you to park. The 2 are not that far apart, don't panic.

I could look up the row info, it's not that difficult, but I'm still thawing out at the moment. Look for a Scottish flag and lots of people getting dressed in the parking rows, and that's pretty much where morning tailgate is. Even if they aren't R/F'ers they're a pretty friendly lot if you stop by and say hi.

PS Dona is almost always the first car in the row so if you're really shy, you can aim for the first car and we'll either find you with Dona or she'll point you towards the rest of the R/Fers in the row!

If you want a cell # to help find us, let me know I will PM you. We normally get there about 8:30AM.

Yep, opening weekend. And since I'll be staying locally, and not coming in that morning from out of town, I hope to make tailgate too (you guys do have tailgate, right?)
Great !
Lady Kett gave you a pretty succinct description of the morning tailgate. McGinty's pub will be open and for opening we will have a chocolate cake as well.
I look forward to seeing you.

p.s. we're usually car# 2 the gold Saturn.
