Oh, now that IS worthy of comment!!!  Congratulations!!  (but I'm pretty sure that answer is actually 42)    (so, yeah, I'm a geek, also...)  Geez... I wanna go to all the cool stuff, to!!!  Ya'll have soooo much awesome stuff that happens down there! 

Why on earth would Fraser tease you about something as cool as that?  And, uhhhh... how come I didn't know you were this guy?!?

Why on Earth would i tease you about THAT, brother?  I think it's the coolest thing since sliced bread and that round thing... oh, the WHEEL!   I'm an avid SF/F reader... as well someone i know getting ready to make it big.  Get ready for semi retirement, my friend!

Now see?    Why on EARTH (or any other planet, for that matter!) you wouldn't wanna shout THIS from the rooftops, I can't even imagine!!!  The absolute best that most of us can hope for when it comes to something like this is to buy's our ticket and takes our turn standing in line for guys like you to sign our copy of whatever it is that you've written!!!  Shout it out, brother Breandan!   It's absolutely awesome news!!!

Spelling issues: blame the freakin tiny Smurf-sized keyboard on my droid combined with typing while at work

Fraser: I wasn't thinging you'd give me grief for it, more like ride my butt to get the other books out (especially book 3, which follows a PSD team asst they try to clear their name)

As for why I'm embarassed by it, that's kinda hard to explain. I guess the short version is that I am averse to fame and don't know how to handle it, combined with a decades-old dread of being teased for my geeky interests. Stupid, I know, but it's there.

S'all good, my friend!  I'm of the same mind... give me the fortune, you can keep the fn' fame.  If someone were of a suicidal bent or just plain stupid, THEY may want to tease you but i personally like all my limbs attached to my body, thank you!    (Oh, DPMS sent me a new bundle of 308 joy... i'll post some pics later  )
