This has been the highlight of my week so far! Also, I have a new found respect for Arnel Pineda. I bought Revelation and holy crap can the man sing. He's a good fit for the band, and sounds eerily like Steeeeeeeve "The Voice" Perry.

My mom and I are definitely making the Nashville show. Oh yeah that's right. I'm driving 200 miles to see some Journey! ^_^

 I'm so jealous.  Journey was my favorite band  back in  highschool.....aging myself here, lol....no wait a  minute it was  preschool, yea, that is  right...preschool !

I was in a drill team  in   and  we preformed  to Journey  songs. Pretty cool !

I have to admit though i miss Steve Perry being with them, but if this new guy sounds like Steeveee..then that is  excellent.

I LURVE Journey!   Got to see them with DefLeppard (guilty pleasure wicked 80's hair band! ) last year.  Rockin' good show.

Admitedly, I do miss Steeeveee also.  Something about the voice... maybe it had something to do with the nose... Not sure, but it worked for me.

I got to see the Journey/Def Leppard show in Charlotte a couple of years ago.  Man they were both awesome!  And 200 miles tis nothing, I've got a certain pyrate comin' from afar to join me at the end of the month to see Journey/Heart/Cheap Trick Aug 2nd in Charlotte!   Which your posts reminds me I need to pick-up the new cd...   OYYYYYYY  how many days???


BTW: I LOVE how the Scarab has the wings and is rising out of the fyre like a phoenix, so totally cool!  Did I mention I love me some Journey?

I've seen journey twice now, niether time with Perry, and they were awesome. The new guy promises to be the best yet. That's what I love about Journey - they live up to their name!

Already had tickets for the San Antonio show for over a month now....just 24 more days!

My parents are seeing them tonight in Denver.  We got their new album last week and I LOVE it.  I grew up listening to their music through my parents, but I really appreciate their new stuff and especially their new singer.  He is INCREDIBLE!

ROFL-- i did the same thing. Just got  the new cd.   The new guy ,Arnel is  excellent !   You know   the guys from Journey  found him  by watching a  youtube  video he  made !   

Listening right now  to the  remake of " Faithfully"  with the new  singer.  Oh is  it good !
