What do you like for a pre-cannon beverage? Any favourite recipes for a Bloody Mary? Is there a particularly good champagne for a nice Mimosa?

Never enterde my mind young Teach.  Rum goes well anytime of day. ;D

You kill me, Teach.... No, please, I don't mean that literally! I've seen you...you could do it!

Diet Mountain Dew and Coconut Rum sounds like something I might do mid-afternoon... and no, I never thought that you wouldn't be including rum in your morning beverage.  :D

Historically it has been mimosas or beer. I'm expanding the morning bar to include coffee based cocktails! Still fussing over the format, though. Yes, it's a girliness sort of fuss, but I can be girly now and again dang it!

THELADYKAT

Rum and coke or Dr Pepper  and as always Loki !!!!  :)

I guess I'm boring. Marques de Caceres white wine, or Macabeo. I usually don't do mimosas becausemy thyroid medication forbids citrus juice.

I don't drink in the mornings.  I rarely drink at all, really.  But my favorite evening tailgate beverage is a good raspberry lambic.  Enough sweetness to give me some energy but enough tartness to revitalize, and it is nice and fizzy to clear the faire dust from the throat.  Totally yummy!

I am not an employee of Scarborough Faire and to not represent them in any way.

Other than a tablespoon of Irish Cream in my coffee when I'm at home (I generally drink my coffee black, so it takes very little), the only time that I will drink in the morning is at faire.

I rarely drink in the mornings outside of faire either. There is just something about being there that just kicks my brain into "We are at faire, it's time for a drink!"

*And that drink is generally rum based as well.*

Pretty sure Faire has been the only time I've ever ingested alcohol before 10am...and usually it's a mimosa. However, when I was at MDRF for Rendezvous a couple years ago that didn't exactly end up well later in the day, so I am perpetually cautious about my alcohol intake when I'm at faire now. If I drink anything it's usually later in the day and it's cider. No hard boozies for this lightweight.

All these yummy beverages, and can't partake.  Though I think if was a coffe based alcohol, it would certainly entice the PP.  ;D

I'm a sucker for Chocolate.  One of my friends had this yummy mars bar hot choclate recipe made with half and half, dark choclate, and melted mars bars that she adds extra milk to to cut the sweetness for cold days,  Or she has served it over ice on hot days.
(Or she has added baley's to it 'perk' it up as well)
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

some Loki and a couple of strong beers (is there any other kind?) get the day going (maybe a bit more on the second day :) )
