I'd do it.  I've no shame.

as a veteran of more than one Wolf Run, I can attest to the fact that things like this sound like a good idea, but fall painfully short when put into practice and the reality of the danglies comes into play ;D

I was just thinking that. Slip and slide, uneven ground, roots, rocks, pine needles, sand, booze, and "danglies'. This does not sound fun.

Maybe on a real beach.

I would hope that whoever is in charge of the "layout" would at least bring a rake, or something!  Surely, if this has gone on for more than a handful of years, they've got to have some sort of plan other than to get blind drunk and drag their danglie bits across the rocks?!?

Oh, and I'm pretty sure there's not actually water involved, either, since there's no running water in the campground... so I'm thinking cooking oil?  Yeah, that's gotta be fun the next day...  :-\

O-KAY! I think Rani needs to check in with another website...one that deals with naked Scots and oiled danglies and all kinds of mean, nasty, ugly things, and pictures with arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one...

That sounds remarkably unpleasant.
Yes in theory naked slip n slide sounds amazing but the reality and logistics of the thing kind of dampen the "awesomeness". I've personally never seen the nakedcslip n slide but I'm thinking even if it was the people of Walmart trying to slip n slide with no water on rocky uneven terrain that'd at least be good for some laughs. Lol

Naked slip-n-slide was indeed cancelled last year due to the fact that it was WAY TO COLD for that opening weekend. It is a site to behold when it happens. The slide area is pretty well raked but the drunkeness of the participants involved tends to remove concern for physical well-being. Also, they may be drunk.. but learned quickly to slide away from the road!
For those who wondered earlier in this thread, CHAOS is alive and well. The big three weekends are still the big party weekends and there were parties to be found for all three. This years AHE was a bit less partying than normal because we were also mourning the loss of members with memorials at that time.

*Wonder if I can get them to cover the slip-n-slide with rum one year...*

There needs to be a ramp involved somewhere...  ;)

Haha yes a ramp would be highly entertaining.

Naked slip-n-slide plus a ramp. Now that's sounds like a whole lot of fun. ;D

Yes... that's one of the things I remember clearly about the camp... the memorial circle was very reverently laid out, and a vigil was being kept the entire weekend.  There were a lot of losses last season...

Still, I'm not sure if I can even remember the last time I was drunk enough to want to take all my clothes off, cover myself in oil and take a running head-first leap onto a slick plastic surface...  (and no, Teach, I was not THAT drunk at your NYE party! :P )  :D

But a ramp would definitely shorten the runway...  (and probably someone's weekend, as well!)  ::)  Geez... you guys aren't bloodthirsty... much.  :D

My fellow Laird is like a natural disaster... hard to predict and you can never be sure where it's going to go.  :D

Ahhh... but when he blows through town you definitely know he's been there, and things always manage to seem just a bit more... interesting... than they did before!  :o

Of course, you both seem to have that same sort of effect...  :D
