And yes, Fraser, I'll do a book signing if they'll have me, but the game is going to print first, this week, actually, and I'm not sure if they'd be interested in that or not (sci-fi and all). The novels go through the agent, then the publisher, get kicked back for editing revisions, then back to the publisher, then kicked back for MORE editing revisions, get put on a shelf while I get institutionalized for mental anguish, then back to the publisher, and so on until FINALLY going to print

Well, THEY say that some tortures are good for the soul... whoever the hell "THEY" are.  You being one of our own and fastasy being a sub of SciFi, I'm quite sure they could see their way clear to offering this to you.  Ravic DID ask a while back.    If this comes out as good as i think it will, it would be a nice feather in his hat and a finger right in the eye of others.    I feel that you have earned a wee bit of justice, my friend.

Oh, I wish I could be there, Breandan... I could totally play fangirl for you!      And I'm sure you get to ogle at least one or two roller derby girls at some point, even if you don't get to actually chase them...  LOL


I'll have to tell Taffy to look for your table, as well, since I'm pretty sure she'll be there this year, also.

Fraser's read some of it, he could probably judge better than I could from a reader's perspective. Not going to cosplay, have panels and such, plus I think there's media interview(s) involved, still not sure. Besides, to cosplay characters from the novels I'd need Weta's prop department

...though a set of mil-spec IBAH armour and a Sierra pulse pistol would be damned fun

Oh, hey... Juju will be there, also, and of course she'll be in something completely mouth-watering... so who needs roller derby girls, right?  heheh  I still think something just a bit dark and sexy would be appropriate, even if it isn't cosplay... and especially if there's gonna be media!!! 


Ok, found your DA link, so I can at least read a little.  I'm liking the artwork so far, and your armor looks interesting!  Ooooh, and regen tanks!  That always helps when you have a finite supply of fresh meat, huh?

VERY nice, btw... and definitely fits the "dark and sexy" criteria.   


Oh, and since Juju has officially announced (well, on fb, anyway) that she has moved on to greener pastures once more, she should definitely have at least one young lad in tow!

Yes, i had the HONOR of tearing through 90 pages or so... and it left me extremely impressed... ok, beyond impressed.  My burly Irish friend is WAY too modest about his talent.  He is one of those writers that paint a picture in your mind.  I've been left for the last year, bouncing up & down, waiting for him to get back from the Sandbox, finish it and get it to bloody print!
