I even have a couple of sips of the very last of the Banana Nut Bread left... bet you didn't know that, did you?    It was left on the back of my van as a parting gift, with about 3 fingers left in the bottle, and I take a tiny taste every now and again, just to transport me back...  

Rani say what? Banana Nut Bread? I had some of Frasier's Lemon stuff and some of Teach's Apple Pie...but....that sounds...faaantastic

Ooooh, you didn't get any of the BNB?  You totally missed out!  It was there at AHE... but where were you?  Oh, that's right... you were at some... party.    Somewhere ELSE. . .  Guess you'll just have to settle for whatever you can get, huh?  Because all the BEST Loki makes it to AHE... and not much beyond that.      

You missed out on the Mounds, also... and a few other flavors that you wouldn't have forgotten in a hurry. 

Oh, there were plenty of "mounds" at the party i was at..but yesh, I will get out to AHE, with either the wife in tow or not...we roll like that.

Oh, please...  Did any of those "mounds" taste like rich dark chocolate and chewy coconut, ooooh?  I think NOT!!!  :  You also missed Teach's Cupcake Juice... and Pat M'Groin's Belgian Chocolate/ Blood Orange (which was soooo sinful and delicious it should really have had a much sexier name)... (I still have a tiny bit of that one left, as well...).  There were lots of other flavors, but those were the ones that people are STILL talking about!  

I'm pretty sure the BNB would have taken the Challenge again, if it had been held... although Pat's would have given it a definite run for it's money.  Might have even been a tie... it was that close.  


Oh, and I love how she's now "the wife"... after months of my Lady, this, and my Lady, that...      Such an old married couple you've become.

Those aren'5t concepts... if you got the money, you can have the car.  Kevin Morgan bought the rights to use the Trans Am name. The 7T7 model will cost you the price of a new SS Camaro and 26g on top of it.   I don't like OCC bikes...

The Hurst model is still a "concept" but they made one for Paul Sr.  I don't hate OCC bikes, i'm just not a big fan of them... i think the whole Sr vs. Jr. thing is a scam.

I don't even watch it (or any other "reality tv") because it all just seems to be playing to the cameras, to me... I enjoy seeing the designs, and if they could just just show that without letting anyone talk about anything except the mods and design innovations, it would be great!  I get tired of shows that are all about personal drama...  Doesn't everyone get enough of that in their daily lives?!?  Why sit down and tune into it when you're supposed to be relaxing?  Let them go bicker on someone else's time! 


Of course, I hardly ever watch tv, anyway... and I just got rid of everything except our MOST basic cable, so now all we have are the straight broadcast channels... and about 6 shopping networks.    When did those go "mainstream", anyway?

<sigh> Appreciate someone's attempts to honor the brand, and more power to them, but...Pontiac will only truly live in our hearts and memories.

When you think about it, the Camaro & the Firebird were the same car, just different body panels.  They started that way when Deloren came up with the Firebird concept in '67 and they pretty much ended that way in '02, with the only main difference being the front & rear clips.

*Yes, there were engine and styling differences but at heart, they were both a F-body*

Sooo... I come home from picking Scally up from school just a bit ago, and it seems I live... somewhere else, now!  At some point today the signs were changed, and our complex now has a new name... 

Nice of them to tell us!  Good thing it wasn't done around rent time, to, or they probably would have claimed that I paid my rent to some other company...   


I wonder if this new mgmt company is trying to "distance" itself from the bad rep the place has had in the past, because all the online reviews say DON'T RENT HERE!!!  I have to say that it's improving some since they've taken over, at least... and I my apartment hasn't been broken into again... so far.    Of course, they probably took one look at my 20 year old TV and lack of any sort of portable fun or expensive electronics in the living room... and decided I was too poor to rob.

Mom in the mini-van gets some really... interesting... looks, when she's rollin' down the road blasting Godsmack - Voodoo as loud as her Alpine will play it... especially if she knows all the words, I guess.    

But, whew!!!  That rhythm just... does things to me!
