LOL  I don't think he would take kindly to me chaperoning him... particularly if I tried to get between him and a bottle he was intent on doing grave injury to!   

Besides, he'll have Will and Katy there, and I don't think he'll be partying as hard as he might if he was solo.  They're staying with friends in town somewhere, anyway, so what they do after last cannon is out of my jurisdiction!  I'm hoping Scally and I might be staying in participants with the Gypsies, but if not then we'll just be sleeping in the van.  One way or another, though, I have the feeling that we'll at least be making cannon this weekend!

That was Opening weekend, Saturday night, Camp McLot, last year....

Yep, cause I flew out to Minden for weapons quals three days later, and Iraq right afterwards. The memories of roasted Mouse kept me warm through all of those cold camel-spider-infested nights of fending off the advances of amorous TCNs of dubious origins

I get first crack, he's part of the Dark Nova Games crew at Comicpalooza helping out, so he'll be pre-tormented by the time TRF rolls around, MWAHAHAHA!

A lot of us gather on Tuesday nights at the Firkin and Phoenix pub in Houston, and there's Comicpalooza coming up last weekend of May where a lot of these heathen social reprobates that I love to death are likely to be. Plus, you still have a few more weekends of Scarby I think. If nothing else, throw a party with the words "alcohol" and "food" in the invite, and you'll have the fire marshal citing you for exceeding the occupancy limits of a home, that's how many of us will show up

Im planning on trying to make a trip to scarby next weekend. And i try to make it down to Houston fairly often I have some family and friends down there so ill have to try and make it out to the pub one weekend.
And a party would be sooo fun, I love friendly get togethers.

Well, you could always jump in the car and make the drive up here tonight...  You'd get here in plenty of time for cannon, but you might be a bit tired after that!    I was going to try and make it to Scarby this season, but it's just not in the cards.  You're bound to have a great time there, though, and it's only one more week, right?

Haha Oklahoma is a bit too much driving for meby myself lol plus I've got work and things this weekend.  Yes scarby is always a good time and I believe there are two more weekends not counting this one.

I make the drive to TRF from here for AHE every year, but I bring my daughter with me... although she sleeps a lot, so she's not much help keeping me awake!  I usually like to drive all night, and pull in sometime mid to late morning, resting a bit on the way.  It's not too bad, and at least it can be done in one shot!  I want to go to some much farther Faires at some point, but I'm not sure if gas will ever be affordable again...    

You've still got Pirate's weekend next week at Scarby, and then Closing, which is nice because it's three days.  It looks like it's going to be hot down there, though!  We're not supposed to get out of the low 70's this weekend, so it should be perfect Faire weather!  (keeping fingers crossed it stays that way!)

ROFL  Ok, darlin'... I promise I'll keep an eye on him!  Of course, I'm going to offer him as many belinis and/or mimosas as he wants before cannon, and maybe even an occasional trip out to the van to refill...

Oh, oops! Forgot to log off on my phone, and it will just stay on until I either log it off or shut of the browser.    It was a wonderful day, though, and we just gave final hugs and sent Rapier and the kids off to their friends place for the night. They're leaving in the morning and we will miss them more than I can say... Even though there will be more friends to spend the day with tomorrow, those three are so special to us. Of course, we'll have tomorrow with Merlin and Nim, and that will help a lot!!!  

Did I mention how exhausted we are??? Off to have a hot meal, then rest!

Think we'll be watching lots of shows today!  Scally experienced her first pubsing last night, though, and she's looking forward to another today! Looking like it might get hot today, though...
