The lateness of the Firkin meet is why I have never gone, since we have to rise @ 5:30AM each morning. Would still like to go sometime just to meet fellow aficionados of the finer things in life - like good booze and rennie stuff.  

Guess I am an old fuddy-duddy in some ways though, as I don't do FB. Like to keep my personal life...well...personal.

At the VERY first sign, I'm just grabbing my weapons, ammo, bug out bags and getting in my car and heading to my land in the Middle of Nowhere, New Mexico, pop 2.

Oh, i'm working on that but there are some things i can't get/don't want the "Uncle with the white goatee" knowing i have.  Now, a few of the sites have fun things like M240 & Mk 19's... and fuel trucks.

There are a few from the forums that go up there. Usually it's just a mess of TRF cast and some of the vendors and boothies. Real low key but a helluva lot of fun.

In-house arsenals are good, but if all that high capacity weaponry is just going to be sittin' there, unclaimed, then I definitely want MY share!!!  And maybe a few other folks' share, as well...  (some people just shouldn't be allowed to play with things that go BOOM, y'know?)  Besides, I've always wanted my very own rocket launcher.  (dreamy sigh)    Ooooh... and fuel trucks.  Good call!
