Haven't gone for a ride yet... but we've got 3 more confirmed on the ground right now, and they are ALL to the SSW of us, heading NNE, with things starting to get a bit more intense out there as I type...

One looks to be tracking almost exactly along the route of the May 3 supercell that basically wiped out Moore OK, in '99... but it's a single cell so far, although there are several cells trying to form together down there right now. 

I'm switching back and forth between here and Gary England and the Natl. Weather Radar center, though... and we'll head over to Scally's school if it gets too close. 

Hmmm... just got that particular really light gray/green in the sky that says straightline winds have hit the upper atmosphere, and are set to start circulating...

Well, crap... Just lost all power, but still have cell towers, obviously... 4th tornado confirmed on the ground, and now we have no weather service. Might be headed to the school now, since the sirens just went off!

The tornado that wasn't too far from Norman has dissipated but its still real interesting in that area. We've got some nasty stuff that is starting to flare up here in North Texas too...

Honey, it won't go off as long as I'm logged in on my phone...  But we're ok, and still home, with sun trying to peek out now. Still no power, but I've got my mom monitoring the storms from her place, 25 miles away, and she'll call if anything gets
close. The sirens keep going on and off, so that's not a real indication of anything right now...

Trying to type using my phone is kind of frustrating...

Ok, we're in the all clear zone, here, but there are tornado carrying storms headed toward the Muskogee area, where were have some forum members, as well... and we have at least 4 confirmed dead not 20 miles from us, with another possible 5-6 further north.  There was also a semi-trailer that was just turned into kindling a few minutes ago along I-40, as well, although the tractor wasn't carried away, so that's something!  Some amazing live video of it, though...


Storm-trackers are bat$#!+ crazy... but they've got cojones, that's for sure!!!

Stuff is ugly and hell in Dallas and Ft. Worth and lots and lots of hail.
All is okay in Denton but who knows as the night goes on.

We're fine, Maeven, but for just a bit I was beginning to wonder...  If it hadn't shifted directions twice it would have hit us head on.    

Bit of nasty weather here, today, but it's pretty much par for the course this time of year...
