I'm hoping to be able to wear my new pirate garb by the end of the season ... but I need to find the right kind of fabric and create a pattern to make the kind of skirt and trousers I have in my head.

Only TEN more days by my count.  Tomorrow and we're into single digits.  Not checking the weather yet, but almost a solid week of good weather behind us.  Woo hoo!  We're hoping to be there opening day.

Well, let's see... I finally got my lazy butt in gear and started my period-correct scabbard for my sword. Should have that done by Monday... Then I need to make myself a new pair of moccasins... Once those are done, I should be ready for the rest of the festival season!!  

***EDIT*** My baldric isn't done either!! CRAP!!

I feel your pain.  I've still got to make new braids for my beard (bein' Jack and all), a new shirt, weather and/or dye a good deal of my other gear, and somehow get it all organized and ready to move into my trailer by... oh... about yesterday....  And I'm still waiting on my damnable boots to come.

Incidentally, please boycott caboots.com, as they are evil incarnate.  I shall not elaborate further at this time.

Mud is gone from the booth.... and the floor washed and ready to paint.... then the wind....oh my the wind... such wind.... really.... could there have been more wind... I really thought we could have use more wind........

I left... I hope the flowers are still attached to the garlands.  Back another day to finish.
