With the events of last episode, we can see the major players starting to emerge.  Those who read the books, recognize them even if it's only a name mentioned.  Those who haven't read the books, will find out in time.

Yeah, a friend of mine was shocked that Ned Stark was in the situation he was in...and Drogo....

I want to know who will be cast as Asha Greyjoy.  That family is about due for some attention.  Maybe next season.

OH and it never dawned on me before but Shay looks to have a sand-borne appearance.  And her truth game.  Serpent perhaps?

Grov, I was thinking the same thing about Shay. She looks like what I would imagine a Sand Serpent would look like!:)

Season Finale tonight.  Load up on popcorn and we'll see who's still standing when the curtain falls. 

Curious about Brienne's casting too.  Maybe use a man?

That bastard better not delay the next book again.  It'll be the only hold-over we have until the next season, which starts filming at the end of July.

So what did you guys think? That bit w/Drogo & his wife near the end was a bit weird...

The Drogo/Daeny part was altered from the books a bit but we ended up in the same spot.  She's head of the bedraggles remnants of the hoard but they are hers.  A horse and a baby died for Drogo.  Then Drogo and a witch died for the other three, and magic, to be "re/born".

And speaking of reborn, We should be seeing Thoros of Myr and Beric Dondarrion again quite soon.  They have some tricks to pull off and must be set up before the Red Wedding.

I wish I had a Khaleesi like Daenerys Stormborn, the Unburnt, Queen of Meereen, Queen of the Andals and the Rhoynar and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm, and Mother of...those 3.

I thought it was excellent. . .now I can read the books and play catch up.  Can we have next season yet?

As usual, I loved it!!! The part with Daeny and the dragons at the end was my favorite part.
Grrrr. I WISH we could have the second season right now. But we have to wait until spring.
I havent heard otherwise, so I am desperately awaiting the 5th book on July 12th!!!

One thing I was wondering. What took Bron north of the wall in his previous travels? Had he been a man of the Nights Watch or do you think it was something else entirely?

I don't recall Bronn's history ever being discussed, even in the slightest.  He might have been a Raider and moved south or a deserter from the Black Brothers.  Not terribly important to a side character though, I don't think.  Granted, he's got a few moments in the spotlight but unlike him, those spotlights don't last.

In the TV series he is one of my favorite characters. LOVE the sarcasm. I didnt pay too much attention to him in the written form though....
I just thought a deserter from the black watch because of the way he said "work" when asked what had brought him north of the wall.

Personally, I think you all work for HBO. Then they played dirty and gave me a free weekend of it and of course it had several episodes during that time. Not enough for me to watch Camelot, oh noooo....

I actually added HBO BECAUSE of GoT. After being a big fan of the book, I knew it would be worth it to me.
