Nice picture, too.  Those are made in Russia to an old German design and are very good for very bad roads.  They're rare-ish in the U.S.

Okay folks, here's my big question: did ANYONE get some decent shots (or any shots, for that matter) of me fighting at the final joust?  It was totally a dream come true for me to do that, and I feel like I've got to document it, because otherwise I might not believe it actually happened, heh.

I couldn't weave through the throng of people to get close enough to get good pictures/record the final fight like I had wanted to. Instead I got stuck behind two of Douglas Counties Finest Sheriff's, back by the pub. I did... sort of get pictures of the parade and a few goings on through out the day.. still trying to get them off my phone and sort out the pictures with bystanders stumbling through the shots I took.

Yeah, it was kind of a last minute thing, so I know a lot of people didn't know about it.  So far I've seen ONE really amazing shot of me standing triumphant with one foot atop my vanquished foe and my giant-arse warhammer (yes, you read that right) held in the air, but that's it.  At any rate, I'm just glad I found a pic
