Firstly - happy anniversary!

Second, um... that is possibly the only night we will have to pack for festival... so depending on this weekend's success for sewing and packing, we are the ones that have to wait and see.

MG - are you willing to wait until Monday for an answer from us? And we will have to bring meatballs as a snacky item... we gots supplies already for such wonderful emergencies!

The management of afore mentioned unnamed pub is amenable to an anniversary pub night at the new location.

Benefits of the new location:
Service: If you want it, get up and get it yourself, damn it.  
Prices: Guaranteed to fit any budget.  
Food Quality: Uhm, hellooo?!  
Location: A bit of a drive but over night accomodations available, if necessary.  
Restrooms: 5 stalls, never a wait, ladies!  

If this is a "GO" for folks, we absolutely need an RSVP to plan for food and drink.  

Hmm, I can't find a rating for this establishment on Zagat's.  Is it AAA rated?  Valet parking?  When's happy hour?

Alas, our water softener did stick in the rinse mode and die this day.  We have been nursing its health for 2 years, but in the end it succumbed to old age. 

Sadly, I must assist Lord Spicer in its replacement tomorrow eve and we will not be able to make the pub night.

What shall I do with my crockpot of meatballs, and my set of Russian fairy tale steins, that were awaiting Wednesday evenings festivities?

Sadly, I must assist Lord Spicer in its replacement tomorrow eve and we will not be able to make the pub night.

What shall I do with my crockpot of meatballs, and my set of Russian fairy tale steins, that were awaiting Wednesday evenings festivities?

Very much sadness!! Eat the meatballs while replacing the softener instead of cooking dinner and save the steins to toast your task upon completion.    We'll see you next time!

The Spicer Manor be 25 this year... apparently it is telling us everything needs to be replaced.  Hmmm, guess that loan for siding and windows should have been spent on major appliances...

Waiting for the furnace and water heater to go next!

Update: purchased new softener. Different fittings + new unions =  no soft water yet (leak!)

stoopid work! i wanted to go and since i cant go to fest this weekend it was well needed. 70 hours in a week makes for a long week.
