I was so happy that a co-worker of mine came through for me and wanted to switch shifts. She needed a day off during the week and in turn asked to work part of my shifts this weekend. couldn't have come at a better time. It was a beautiful day albeit a "slow" day as far as people. I just wished I didn't have to leave so early. So now here I sit at work at 3:25 AM waiting until I get off work to go do it again. Can't wait to see all of you again. I might even actually sit down and watch a show for once.

What a wonderful weekend indeed. Crowds were smallish, but still fun, and the weather was gorgeous... except for that rain bit..but it DID feel good I have to admit xD.

Shall we do it all again soon?

I made it last year for opening weekend but had to miss this one.
Were the crowds sammler than usual? Was there much rain? I thought it was nice out all weekend.

Had a few minutes of heavy rain Sunday and some sun showers off and on for a while but it cleared up nicely

Saturday crowds were smaller than last year by 500 people.  But those that came shopped their hearts out!

Surprising, considering it was 95 and humid last year.  I thought that would have kept people away.

Sales were better this year, so I agree and am glad for that.  This is why I always prefer a smaller eager crowd over a large crowd.  We can take the time to make the sale with the smaller enthusiasm.
