Lab potluck: Nigerian chicken, Thai chicken and rice, Korean dumplings and curry chicken, Mexican enchiladas, and my mom's Canadian pumpkin pie. Best Lunch EVER!

Canadian Pumpkin Pie.....Don't think I've ever heard of that one before. Is it the same as the orginial pumkin pie or is it totally different all together?

My mom's Canadian and it was a nifty 2 layer cream cheese/pumpkin pie she makes. The recipe itself isn't canadian per se, but I tagged it as such since we were doing a "bring your culture" kinda potluck :)

One word: Wraps

another word..............deceiving. Gotta watch wraps. Many full size tortillas hold more calories than your average two slice sandwich or bun. Seriously. Most full size tortillas, 12"flour, are 240 calories. Add in cheese, a spread, meat, and you can have more calories than a Big Mac ( 580 ) so watch those wraps.

DonaCatalina

I read labels assiduously. You can find wraps that are low in calories and have a good protein content so you feel like you ate more than you did.

Hummus makes a good spread that is lower in calories and sugar than most mayonnaises and mustards.
