Lady Rebecca

I just finished the newest book in the Bloody Jack Adventure series - The Mark of the Golden Dragon, so now I've decided to re-read them all again. I'm currently on book 1 - Bloody Jack.

I just finished reading the manga "The Innocent" - great art and a very interesting premise.  Am now just starting a biography of Beau Brummell, interesting character.

Just finished Stephen King's "11/22/63".  Really liked it.  Sci-Fi AND a love story!

I'm maybe 200 pages into it and back to blessing the day Stephen King was born.  He's back on track - strong - and I'm in love with his world all over again.  It was so good to see Bev & Richie again, if only briefly.

Still working my way one more time through my collection of Books by Patrick F. McManus.

Currently re-reading The Good Samaritan Strikes Again (1992).

There were a few miscellaneous Sci-Fi and Fantasy books in some bags that a lady gave to my Mom for the Community Reading Room, or to be donated to a Fund Raising Shop.  While I was there visiting at Thanksgiving, she asked me to see if I wanted any of them, so I looked thorough the bags and found Anne McCaffrey's The Skies of Pern (2001).  I began reading it, but didn't have room in my suitcase to bring it back with me at Thanksgiving, so my parents will be bringing it when they drive up for Christmas next week.  Looking forward to finishing the The Skies of Pern.

Re-reading "Don't Stand Too Close to a Naked Man" by Tim Allen. A light, funny read - especially in the area of male/female interactions...including communication.

I'll also re-read his 2nd book "I'm Not Really Here", a little more serious treatment along the lines of "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Mechanics" and Richard Bach's "Illusions".

Then I'll likely delve into re-reading some other, more serious books from my library. Funny what strikes you on the next pass through a previously read book...

I made a Barnes and Noble run this week and picked up three new books. I was starting to twitch without new reading material! :D

I put down the Outlander series with only "Echo in the Bone" left to go for now...  and started "Game of Thrones".    Call me a lemming but since everyone else was doing it I wanted to be with the cool kids.

Just finished Among the Living a Zombie apox novel not great but not bad.  Re-reading Sign of Four the Second Sherlock Holmes novel.  Got a Nook for Christmas and have been filling it up surprised at the number of free books out there.

Just finishing American Gods by Neil Gaiman. Should reach the climax (of the book!) tonight.

I have a couple Solstice gifts to read, not sure which one to read first: The View From the Seventh Layer by Kevin Brockmeier, or 11/22/63 by Stephen King...
