Just talked to daughter in Dallas,they were all in the bathoom and kids lying in tub waiting it out. Said shewould call as soon as it was over,still on pins and needles.

Saying a prayer that they are all safe and well.  From what I understand the storms have passed the DFW area so at least the threat is gone now.

We spent 30-45 minutes in the stairwell at work.  No dammage on our end.  The day care even put Fuzzlet's class in the bathroom to wait it out.  There was a tornado that touched down in Arlington, but so far the Pink Pirate's crew is doing ok.

Saw some pretty scary video of one of the tornadoes tossing semis around like matchsticks. Not sure exactly where in Dallas it was.

Spent some time in interior shelter and Amy was sent to the basement twice at her work.  At the house we just got a lot of rain.  Hope everyone and the new grounds are ok.

Scarborough states: "We didn't have much wind, storm wise. We are guessing inch and a half - two inches. We now have 3 days of sunshine- we will be dry and GREEN (and the flowers will be something) come Saturday. We'll have our Easter colors in top form!"

I heard that a funnel touched down near I-20 and Cooper, but so far, no reports of major injuries, TBTG.

Good news Bad news.

My entire neighborhood got smashed bad....tornado went right down my street. Lost every tree...roof...windows...fence.... damage to some exterior walls... BUT nobody got hurt.

Property can be replaced...dont even care about that...when I couldn't find my daughters...a bit scary. But all is fine.

Oh Merlin, I'm so sorry. But you are right that property can be replaced, so I'm very glad no one was hurt.
I spent about 30 minutes in the interior bathroom with the dog and a camping futon.
We had two pass close enough for me to hear the vacuum cleaner sound...one east and one west... but we only lost a few shingles.

There were actually four major tornadoes that went through Dallas and Fort Worth yesterday afternoon. They looked like giant paisleys on the radar screen before we lost computers.
