I'm very sorry to announce that Scally and I will be unable to attend the festivities this weekend. We are sitting on the side of the interstate with a blown engine, waiting for family to come take is back to the city.

Merlin... I can't even begin to say how very upset and disappointed we both are about this... We both wish you a most beautiful renewal ceremony, and at least another century or two of happy returns!  You will both be in our hearts and minds this weekend...

Thanks, Elo... we're home, safe, now.  I'm glad you'll get to be there with Merlin and Nim tomorrow, along with so many others... and glad they've got so much Fairemily to celebrate with!  We'll be thinking of you all...

The ceremony was beautiful and so perfect for you both. Merlin, Nim, thank you for allowing me to be there with you to share in the special moment in your lives. I think everybody had a great time- no matter the winds attempt to blow us away, it was wonderful. It was great dancing with Tartanic (hell, I even got Merlin to dance...yes, a very very old wizard can get up and shake his groove thing on a special occasion  ). I have to say, I've never seen that many photographers in the same place before...that's how you know you are truly loved, when they show up out of their own free will.

Just something brief before we crash for the night...I'll post at length Monday, once we're safely home, but today was one of the most unforgettable and wonderful days of our lives. All who came, and all who couldn't, but sent their wishes, we most gratefully offer you our thanks...You are all so very special.  More to come when my eyes aren't blurry!
