Met alot of great people this season (most are customers of mine in Waxahachie). I always feel  little sad when faire is over, and start counting the days till next season.

see you next year!

Picking a favorite memory is difficult. Here are some of my highlights:

-Merlin & Nims vow renewal
-My cousins husband getting picked for the Bellydance show
-My daughters joy at getting her first 'grown up' dress (a Faire Pair velvet dress)
-FINALLY seeing the Tortuga Twins. (I really hope they come back!)

We are honoured and humbled to have made your list, Cowgrrl!  I would have to say that it was my favourite memory as well. If I didn't say that, Nim would have my...head.

It was our pleasure to have been able to attend three weekends (1, 2, & 8) this year, a new record. Too many great memories with all our friends to be too specific, but Lady Kett & Sidekick's renewal on Saturday last, and Tartanic's 10:30 show yesterday would have to be included.

So, Eric...where the hell were you?? Did we meet and I forgot? That happens once you hit 1000 years old or so...

Lots of good memories from this year. Don't have a favorite, but the first good memory was on opening day. The Scots are in front of the wedding garden to do a pike arch for a wedding. The king comes through, so we line up and salute. The king, our own VIII, ignores that and comes up to shake my hand. Says. "Good to see you again my friend."

i usually dont stay in one place very long... running from one side of the faire to the other. i loose about a pound a day (haha), unfortunately we did not meet though i do believe i spotted you on one of my many jaunts across the faire. For some crazy reason i get alot of people shouting "Hey it's Guy Feiri from the Food Network" ... something about the spikey blonde hair and dark beard (i don't see it). I'm pretty shy, so i dont usually engage people unless they initiate, hence the running back and forth... i really gotta work on that.

Anybody have any pics of the sexy "Guest" snare drummer that played with Tartanic in that 10:30 show? (And a few of the other Tartanic performances on Sunday and Monday) Post them, if so..........

Three years ago, I was extremely shy—a veritable wallflower. Then I met the Doña Catalina. (I love that lady!)  The rest is, as they say, "Renaissance history."  We catch you next time, eh?

My favorite memories are:

* Meeting and getting to hang for awhile with The Big M, Ot Throck, The K Lady and Dona C.

* Finally having the opportunity to have a photograph taken with the gorgeous "Wings of Isis"
Star Dancers.  (In particular the one I've been in love with since 2006)

* Getting to see Mimick the Cat again. Mimick is Peter (The Glassblower) Andres's cat that we discovered hanging out around the wooded bridge in 2006. Thought he was lost out at the Faire, but discovered he was Peter's cat. (Yes, I'm a Cat Lover)

* "Guest" Drumming with Tartanic Sunday and Monday. Awesome!

I'll try to post pics later when I get home..................

scarby is where i first started dancing and got  hooked on dancing and have since danced a few years of other things....

so coming back to court and being a fully confident lead dancer was a lot of fun.

Eric:  I'll join you in the shy corner. I've known some people on these forums for 2-4 years & it's STILL difficult for me to approach them & strike up a conversation. Social anxiety is a b!tch.

William:  I'm involved with the Star Dancers (same studio I take classes at & my husband [Al-Nimer] drums for them some weekends) so I'm curious as to who your favorite is.

Being told Thank you for coming and making our show better by Dan Grandquist as we were heading for the gate Monday Afternoon.  Plus then there were lots of other things including but not limited to Merlin and Nims renewal and Kett and sidekicks renewal and all the wonderful people we got to play with each day of faire.

The first thing I did when I arrived at Scarborough on Sunday was go see the Star Dancers and my secret long lost Star Dancer that I've been infatuated with for so long. I have a good friend in Ft.Worth that is moving down here and wants to rent his house. If I knew this girl was single/and wasn't seeing anybody, I'd be in Dallas tomorrow. Weirder things have certainly happened but there's no chance that a girl this attractive is not married or dating somebody. Which one is it? The gorgeous one.........

My clan and I went the third weekend and I'd have to say my favorite memory was...the entire weekend.
In chronelogical order:
Sat - Bought the "Renaissance Magazine" with our Henry VIII on the front and the one with our Queen Anne at the bookstore in Holly Field.
They each signed their copies of said magazines and took pictures with me and my kids.
Met and chatted with the Archduchess of Wurttemburg
        Met Lord George Boleyn
Sun - Was introduced to 3/4 of the HCM by the Viscount Rochford
Had a private HCM lesson and pictures made with the Duke of Suffolk and Master Cromwell
and attended my first court dance.

15 years of attending and this was the best ever!!!!! :D :D :D :D

Oh! and Rum Balls from the bakery. Yummmm.

I was drumming for them on Sunday, and I remember you taking the picture with the dancers after the show.  Pretty sure I know who you're talking about, but I won't name any names  ;)

Of course, I have many favourite memories of this season from the Star Dancer stage shows I performed in, mostly having to do with audience participation  :D
