I'm now friends with Lady Kett, and quite a lot of people I know from TRF, but not too many from Scarborough Faire. Scarby was my home faire from the mid-90's until I moved to Houston at the end of 2003 --- long before I knew about, or joined Facebook.

But I guess I'd best get used to being called Twyla now. I always wanted to be called Twyla - there was a Twyla's Florist in a neighboring town when I was growing up! Sorasha is one of my online gaming character names that I'm fond of, and Zuonomir is just a cool last name I stumbled across somewhere.

I once made the mistake of asking 2 girls out for the same night. They were both named Twyla. Didn't remember about Twyla L. till I was at the drive-in with Twyla H. Funny thing is I never went out with Twyla H. again, but dated Twyla L. all semester.

In some ways, I like it better here. It's more focused to my interest, and I don't have to listen to some of my friends who like to be verbally abusive to people. However, there are some changes that need to be made around here, and I don't think the powers that be are interested. I need to start my own planet. It would be nice, as long as I can persuade the good folks I know to join me.

I guess I'd better learn quickly. It appears that the God of R/F doesn't like to be challenged. I don't know who it is, but they appear to like to disappear anything they have a problem with--without notice--in lieu of confronting anyone.  It would not surprise me to find that even though I'm here more than they are, that I will disappear entirely before long. Pretty lame, if you ask me...at least I attended RenDezvous. Pardon, but I'm pissed now!

PS settings in facebook just bamboozle me at the moment. I'm content to stumble along since everyone made me crawl out from under my rock! ~

Well, I will admit that I am not too great at the filtering settings. But in my defense, as soon as I get one set figured out, Facebook changes all the settings and I have to relearn new ones.
