That peasant is rumored to be the Lady Remington, drugged by peasants, forced into peasant clothes, masked and let loose to roam the streets. The visiting Russian prince  (who has yet to recover his wardrobe carriage) and her Husband, My Lord Remington, may have believed her; however, His Royal Highness the Prince declares that she is not in fact M'Lady Remi, and is naught but a dirty peasant. As the Prince proclaims, so it is.

:)

I, of course, had *nothing* to do with that.  No, nothing at all!

I do hope I've instilled a love of peasanting in Larkspurshire.  There just aren't enough of them.  I leave in two years when my man gets reassigned to another post -  after that, I can't be a bad infulence in you all....

I LOVE PICTURES!!!

My camera... Bigger lens? Nope don't need it, I get 12X Optical and then up to a 4X digital on top of that for 48X or 35mm to 420mm But than again i'm not a guy so why get a bigger lens. I'm happy with what my camera does.

Big enough for me. If I go to 48X I need a tripod as just the slighest breeze blures everything. Yeah I know you guys, bigger is better. But with a woman the only thing big we want is a checking acount so we can buy everything we want and don't want... LOL just kidding

... I swear his camera must have been right over my shoulder when I wasn't looking as some of his and mine look similar.

I only saw him once this weekend and that was after he left Zoe's pop stand in a hurry. Hum, me thinks he was following me LOL.  :)

Thank you for the kind words.  You must be thinking about this picture.  :)

As you can see, I got a few more processed tonight.  Like you, I am still working on my pictures.  It would be a while before I get them all processed and posted.  I would love to see yours when post them.

I agree with what you said in another thread.  The expressions can be more natural if the subject is unaware of the presence of the camera.  Of course, some of my subjects can produce fantastic smiles and poses on demand every time.  They are just simply amazing.  It is a real joy to photograph them.

that's a brilliant idea, btw.
Sounds like Oh my GOSH Witch Craft has done this to the fine lady Remington. Maybe the filthy Prince is in on it out of Jelousy?

Speaking of witch? Which... yes thats correct.

Thomas and I thought it would be SO fun to have a three person troup for faire. One would be a an executionor, the other a beefeater type reading out a proclomation and the third a fine noble lady being pulled around in chains. She is accused ot... WITCH CRAFT and maybe treason. As the beefeater guy would keep reading out the charges she would scream out, No I am innocent. I am not a witch, nor did I try seduce the good prince and his Royal Highness. At points in the day the king would finally declare her death to happen follwing the joust. BUT with the joiust bring enough blood shead the king pardons her at the end which she is MOST greatful for. The executioner is not happy as he didn't make his pence and the beefeater guy starts his hunt for a new person to announce charges to.

Just a fun idea.

LOL Indeed, you are an allusive guy. That is to funny. And you are most welcome. Once I get through them, last night was a rough night as Toki was sick as a well very sick and I was trying to take care of him and get photos gone through.

Once I get them done I will post a link on the site. it may be a few weeks, but I'll get'er done.

I have some sewing to fisnish this week so that will also take some time away , OYE I wish I could work from home sometimes.

HUZZAH to Nelson for such outstanding work.

Aha, I recall you getting one of me while I was standing by listening to Owain that Sunday morning.  I didn't know I looked so concerned!  As I remember though it was a bad morning and I was getting a little 'chill' time in with Owain before I had to go back to work, so that could explain why, haha.  Nice pictures all!  :D

Anybody know who the harpist is (the guy?) I thought I knew everyone who played the Celtic harp around here but i don't recognize him and I sure don't recognize the harp - it's distinctive.

Blushing

Sir Matthew (Schwarz) ... I think he's local-ish, but relatively recent (but that's based on a conversation I barely remember).   He was VERY surprised that there were no other harpists playing the faire.
