Finally made it through the internet pathways.  Dumb broadband kept dropping out - guess it got cold.  Had to fall back on dial-up.  SSSSLLLLLLOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!

The Hell You Say...
Just the other day I was reminiscing of the dial up days.  Wondering if any ISPs actually offered dial up service anymore. 
I guess Polly put that to bed.
Last night I had to swap out my DSL modem.  It was acting very flaky.  So far so good with the new one.
Now, let's go to faire, where broadband and dial up are unknown (o:

And, yes, Captain, there is at least one dial-up provider left, texas.net. 

I so look forward to the day when we get something faster; unfortunately where I am it will probably be another 20 years or so and I probably won't care much by then.
