Haha, I know of at least one that might!  But it will be a fairly small batch as I just got into wine-making back in December!  so I've only got about a gallon and a half of December mead that is almost ready to go!  It technically should be aged a little longer, but it's drinkable right now!  it's a dry mead though... I've not checked the alcohol percentage, but I'd wager it's at around a 14ish percent

I do have a good bit of Jalapeno wine though!  A gallon of mild, a gallon of medium, and a gallon of HOT
I'm VERY proud of this strange brain-child of mine!!!

I am interested in talking to you about not only mead, but this jalapeƱo wine you speak of . . . I've only brewed beer, but am keenly interested in brewing other things (especially mead).  I've never considered even the possibility of making wine from jalapeƱos, but now I'm very, very curious.

Will probably be bringing some of my mead if anyone is interested!

Really?  In this crowd do you think that anyone is going to turn you down?  Any requests for baked goods?

Wine and mead making has become an obsession of mine as of late!  I will gladly talk to anyone that wants to know any information!

I may pick your brain on beer!  As it's where I'm going next after perfecting my wine-making skills!

I'll probably start a new thread for anyone who wants to discuss the various wines I could bring to the tailgate!

We had two friends that wanted to come with us to opening.  When we told them we wanted to be there by 8 or 830 they thought we were nuts.  They just don't understand Tailgate.  Oh well.  This year fuzzlet will be old enough to toddle about.  This should prove interesting.  And yes, I am doing my best for her to have a new outfit for opening.  I have WAY too many scraps left over from my Robin hood show for her NOT to have something new for opening.
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

Merlin the Elder

YEA! I wasn't sure we'd see you kids because of the show that night!

I'll be there Saturday morning. Looking forward to seeing everyone and very sorry for losing touch here lately.
Still Meggers, just a little more grown up now. :)

I am not sure if it is proper for a wizard to squee, so I shall attempt to maintain composure.

It will be a pleasure to see you, Miss Elo!

Well, Amy and I finally decided to get our FoF passes.  We were holding off as I was on the list to be mobilized but since it is less than 30 days out it is pretty sure I'm not going to the Sandbox.

It looks like I won't be able to make it to the tailgate. I have to report to work 8:30 that morning.

Lady Kaalyn

I have to be at work at 8:45 so i will more than likely not be at the tail gate.  :(  But i hope to see everyone while im working at the fair.  :) It will be my first season working at scarby and im super excited.

We are planning on bringing some Jalapeno Corn Muffins to share, and as promised, I'll have some of my mead and Jalapeno wine for anyone who wants to try some!

And, um, BagPipeBabe, yeah I obviously owe you a mug full of mead!   :-[

Any idea how many dozen of the corn muffins we should make? :) Probably around 3?

DonaCatalina

I actually think a dozen will be enough, or maybe 18? How many did you take home Sunday?
