Sir Matthew (Schwarz) ... I think he's local-ish, but relatively recent (but that's based on a conversation I barely remember).   He was VERY surprised that there were no other harpists playing the faire.

There is another harpist. The older lady who wears pink with long white bloomers with pink edges and a woven hate that has the same pink in one of the circles (She walked by me the other day and I was impressed by how much pink there was). Very quiet, but she does a stint at gate. At least, I think that's a harp....  I don't think she does end of the day jam.
o/` I'm a little teapot...o/` No, I'm not, that would be silly. ::)

That's because most local harpists won't play for free...I certainly won't. It's insulting.

Are you referring to the little old Russian lady? Rather short? She plays a balalaika, a traditional Russian instrument. I believe her name is Anya or something like that. When I was there she never played closing gate but she did the morning session.

DUUUHHHH.............

I certainly empathize with you on that one....  I get at least 3 calls a month asking for freebies.
Cause, "Cake or death?" That's a pretty easy question.
Anyone could answer that.
"Cake or death?"
"Eh, cake please."

Hi Everyone

Ok SO I worked for about 2 hours and here you have a start. Don't bother going to pages 3 - 10 as they do not exist... YET

http://www.delaneyalysa.com/CORenFaire2008_2.htm

Feel free to use them. Feedback welcome. These are some of my favorites of individuals. I have more and will get to them hopefully tomorrow night if all goes well. I would have gotten more tonight, but Ghost Hunters International was calling my name.

You got some excellent captures.  The lady in red was very interesting photographic wise.  I love people's expressions you captured.  Well done!  Would love to see the rest.

I am still in the process working on mine but I am not in a big hurry.  I like to work on some each night and that gives me something to look forward to after coming back from work.  Yes I have another day job and it can be demanding as well.

Thank you for sharing!

I must say that is an excellent photo of Twig, it really captures a lot of motion.  I feel like she's moving even in the still photo.   :o

Thank you for your kind words.

I will try to get more posted tonight. I may get an earlier start tonight. I am off tomorrow and hope to get more done... once I get some sewing done for Saturday noting major, just some minor repairs on my Katherine Parr dress hem (It likes to catch on things and pull out).

It is fun to do photography and see what you captured. It's a new experience everyday. With me I am so critical and tend to not be happy with what I have done. I know I can always do better (Yeah thats the perfectionist in me)

The pic of Twig was on Toki liked so I put it in. I actually have 4 or 5 more of her but will most likely not post them all. Some of the other pieces I have are just of buildings which have a character to themselves.

I will be back this Saturday to endure the triple digit heat that is predicted and the closing weekend crowds. I will be sure to take even more. I went and purchased two more 2Gb cards for my camera. Not that I will ever need them, you never know.

Thanks again and enjoy.

I go to Newegg.com The place I get ALL of my PC parts. Yes I even build my own PC's from the ground up and that way I know what I'm getting and don't have to deal as much if any with India support. (Actually never in my life with my PC's and I can get a rocking system built for $300 to $500

The 2Gb cards I got were 6.99. They were out of the ones i wanted at $5.99 Granted you pay shipping but if I were to drive to I-25 and 225 it would have already cost me more than I pay for shipping and tax. With shipping and expedited handling (Order Monday have them today) I paid a bit less than $28. Had I gone to buy them else where I would have paid that in gas alone (I live in the Northern wasterlands of Colorado caled Loveland)

Newegg.com is the place to go in my oppinion and almost every PC tech I now or work with.

Ok thanks Garth for making my geekness shine SHEESH!

Yes............ New egg..........My geekey husband shops there all the time.  Has built at least 4 kick *ss computers for half the cost of new.

Yeah same with Toki, I am his personal PC tech. If it weren't from me his Compaq would be slow as slow can be. But now, it's moving at what it should. The problem with installing OEM OS's is they have some much other stuff they put on that causes slow downs.

OK enough tech talk back to Photos
