Clan McCann

Hello all!

I will be traveling with a group to Scarby on Sunday, the majority of us plan to be there for opening Cannon.

I would like to try and meet a few people, as I have lurked on the boards for a year and a half and have yet to actually introduce myself to anyone at Faire. I have spotted a few of you before, of particular note, I was an unidentified witness to Merlin the Elder's ceremonies last season.

If anyone has time on sunday, I would greatly enjoy meeting a few people. I'll probably be spending quite a bit of time near the beer dispensaries as I'll be celebrating my birthday (Monday the 22nd) as well.

Hello my friend! Many of us are in the same boat and trying to break out and meet new folks. I am one of them! I would love to meet you Sunday. I am usually just in time for cannon, and I often do court things, but i9 have no set schedule other than dancing from 430-530. :)

do you know well enough were things are, or want us to plan meetings?

I know roughly where things are at, but am not necessarily 100% familiar with shop names, stages or that sort of stuff. So I suppose if you wanted to suggest a meeting spot that would be great.

Are you part of the McCann clan from the neighboring country of Arkansas?

I, too, am always looking for new friends at faire!  BTW BPB...  I'm VERY sorry I didn't stay and chat longer last weekend!  I was distracted by my companion ticket holders, and wanted to make sure I didn't end up ignoring them by getting too involved with my faire friends!  I promise I won't be too distracted this weekend!

I also would like to know how to recognize Clan McCann!

So there is the Spanish flag you could look for before cannon. And then the bakery about 10:30 am. I'd like to meet you; but you'll have to look for us since we have no idea what you look like!  :D

So I thought I had replied yesterday, but apparently, my computer ate my post, and I didn't notice.

I can try to submit a picture, but I can't set an avatar while I'm here at work. I'll try to get that done tonight.

Really looking forward to seeing some of you on sunday!

Evie McCann

Hey! I'm a McCann! Nice to see a fellow clansman here. Where do you hail from?

Sorry I missed everyone, I was at the bakery at 10:30, but I didn't see anyone I recognized, so if you were there, I apologize for not introducing myself. I plan on going at least one other day this season, so I'll try and figure out another time to meet up, and possibly swing by the morning tailgate if you folks are there.

Evie, I live in Lewisville Tx. Glad to see another McCann around as well.

I wasn't able to get an avatar set up before this weekend, but I will be trying this week to set that up.

What a beautiful day at Faire on Sunday though, the weather was absolutely perfect, I hope everyone else enjoyed themselves as much as I did!
