Prayer for my niece Rachel

I am asking for prayers for my niece.....

My niece was in a very bad car wreck, the car rolled over several times then caught fire with her trapped inside and her legs pinned and trapped outside.  It took the firefighters over 1 1/2 hours to get her out.  There were 4 in the car and the driver was the only one not hurt and he crawled out of the wreck and fled the scene....I do not think those in the back seat made it....

She spent 12 hours yesterday in surgery to try to repair all the damage to her leg(bones were sticking out in several places) and her ankle and foot were crushed.  They are not sure if the surgery to repair will even save the leg, her liver was damaged and she has 2nd degree burns from her head down....

I am so sorry to hear about your neice's accident. I hope that she will recover much better than expected. I'm sure it will be a long road for all of you. She will be in my thoughts and prayers.

update....they caught the guy but he was able to post bond.... I just do not understand the system.....he ran once....and they let him post out....


niece is now upgraded to stable.... praying that there will be no infections as the bone marrow was exposed and no infection from the burns

LadyFair I for one will add you and your niece to my thoughts and prayers as well.No one should have to go through that especially not your niece.I will be praying that she makes a speedy recovery and that nothing else will happen to her after she has been through enough already as it is.

I spoke with Ladyfair this evening. The two passengers that were in the back seat were not killed but are in critical condition. I don't know their names but please keep them in your thoughts as well. As well as all the families involved.
