So, for anyone interested, if anyone is out there, I thought I would post my experiences this year so far.  We went out for a Sunday day trip the 3rd weekend. Attendence was light, especially earlier in the day. We left by 1:30 because it was too hot for us.  There are a good handful of shops closed.  Most people were wearing masks.  We didn't stop for any shows but spaces were marked off as reminders for social distancing.  There are staffing spraying unoccupied seating all over the grounds.

This past weekend we went out and camped.  Campground was a little quieter, not nearly as much wandering about.  We stuck to our campsite but were close enough to main roads to notice the lack of wanderers.  Faire got a lot busier in the afternoon and less masks were seen as the afternoon moved on.  We chose to skip the fireworks for our own safety and peace of mind.

If you go, please wear a mask.  Wear a cotton one, not the stretchy ones or gaiters.  Cotton breathes better and you will be more comfortable.  Keep sanitized and distance the best you can.

Also, most shops require masks be worn and have capacity limits posted. Some even require you to sanitize your hands before you will be allowed to enter. Some have directional flows thru their shops posted. Be patient and mindful and a great time can still be had. We still had a fantastic time and made more wonderful memories.

I agree. I was hoping to hear camping stories or stories and pics from faire. I wish someone would chime in .
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are---
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Haven't checked in, in a while.  Hope all have been doing well.  Thanks for the info, Trill.  I'm glad you got to go and enjoyed yourself.  TRF has always been such a great escape for me and I look forward to the next time I can stroll the lanes.

Nothing to share for me. We won't be heading out until next Saturday. Of course, that is closing weekend, so I don't expect to see anything new that hasn't already been reported on by someone else.

Don't forget to smell the roses, but watch out for the thorns!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Our TRF day got rained out. We decided that we were not keen on spending the day in the wet and the cold. So I guess we'll save our tickets for next year. So happy that we have that option this year.

Another season in the books.  I hope next year is better and everything can go back to normal.  Regardless, if TRF is open, I will be there.  However, like KiltedPrivateer, I didn't go this last weekend.  First closing I've missed since 2012.  But StudMuffin doesn't like that much rain.  He gets stuck......

I hope everyone is staying warm and safe! Woke up to ice and a layer of snow down here at the coast. This weather is crazy!
