Early Faire favorites were:  Carol on harp and Tony Selvage on violin at the Agoura Faires in the 70's.  Also Pitu Guli (ethnic music and dance) from the old days. Sol Feldthouse (master middle eastern musician).

Later Faire Favorites:  Hahbi Ru (John Compton's bellydance troupe); Chris Caswell on harp.

Recent Faire Favorites: Craig of Farrington.  Empty Hats.  Owain Phyfe with whomever is accompanying him from Cantiga to The New World Renaissance Band.  The Roses.  Porter and Stout (because they do "Freebird" on request.  And they do it so well).  The late E Muzeki.  Paolo Garbanzo (because I'm a fan from wayback of the Karamozovs).  Aryeh Frankfurter (harper and violinist extraordinare).

This may get me flogged/shot/lynched/tarred and feathered, but, for as much as I've heard about them, I was very...unimpressed...with Boca Musica.  Maybe I just caught them on an "off day"  :-\
