I keep thinking of going but somehow I have just never made it.  Perhaps if they send tickets this year I may use them.  I'm not actually a huge fan of haunted houses, is there much else to do besides haunted houses?

I can tell ya'll this, there is a whole lotta effort going into the off-season prior to the actual opening.
I am a true died in the wool yeller chicken.
but, the makeup, costumes and accoutra-effort going into this makes me want to go and see it in its natural form...
That would mean, in the dark, at night, when everything is all dark...
um... when is everyone else going?

Candy and I normally go opening weekend with the tickets we get from our FoF.  We always have a grand old time with Candy screaming every time someone jumps out at her and me laughing at her and her then hitting me for laughing.  Its also fun to try and guess who is whom from Scraby.

Ottheinrich and I were talking about combining it with a trip to Middlefaire on Oct 3rd. Hit MF for a while, grab a bite, then head up to Screams. Saves a little on gas knocking them both out in one day for us living north of Dallas proper.

Yep, last time I talked to him on the phone, we talked about it. Count me in (that is if I'm not working). If I meet up at one of ya'lls houses, can you save a seat in the truck for me? Pleeeeeease? I promise to be nice.  ;D

Screams was awesome last night, I just wish DS wasn't so much of a scaredy cat  ::)
I could only get him to go with me through the graveyard and the Castle of Darkness, and I wasn't about to leave him by himself while I went into the others.  After we came out of the Castle, he said he almost fainted at the end  :o

It was cool to see Scarborough all decked out in blood, gore, walking dead, etc.  What I saw was very well done.  I did take a few pictures before the gate opened and I had to return the camera to the car.  Didn't know they weren't allowed, yet I did see a few people with camera phones taking pictures inside.  I'll post another message when I get the pics uploaded.
