Peddlin

Some of you will remember a young man at Rendevous (TNRF) last spring. Steven was there, at the pub, with the M'Cracks, and he had a wonderful time. He drank beer, threw up in the trashcan three times, fell out of his wheelchair (with his legs tied to the foot rests), and (one of the highlights of his life) was when he got wenched. Well, now Steven is not doing very well. He is currently in the hospital (again), with his young wife (my niece) at his bedside. He needs two organ transplants, that are not going to happen. They asked his wife to sign a DNR last week, but then when Steven rallied, it was recended. We don't know what happens next, but it is not looking good. They are much too young to be going through all of this, not that anyone is old enough. I just know how happy you all made Steven that weekend in Tennessee, and he knew how much you all cared about him, even though you didn't know him. I would like to say thank you, and ask you to care about him, again. Please think of him, and mention him in your prayers. It will mean the world to those of us who love him.

I'm so sorry to hear of this.  As you know I couldn't make TNRF as I was busy with VARF so didn't get to meet your nephew.  I'm sorry that this has happened and will certainly add him to my prayers and thoughts.

It was truely an honor to meet (and wench) such a wonderful young man as your Steven when I was visiting TNRF this year.

He and his family are in my prayers during this difficult time.
In this I am all things.

My gosh, Peddlin', it sounds like Seven has had more than his share of ill health. I'm sorry for that. I'll certainly send a prayer for him and his family.
