So what didn't you get a chance to do during the MRF 2008 season?

Every year I miss doing a few things.  Hard to believe but I get very busy and it is often a challenge just getting across the site.  I bet many of you wanted to partake in a few activities, try a few foods, stop by a few shops, and talk with a few friends and just didn't get the time.

I wanted to stop by Greymare and say thanks for the pirate flag they handed me during parade.

I wanted to check out the cool leather skull masks.

I wanted to eat a last ear of corn.

I never made it to get a single jack of mead (remember I'm not supposed to drink while at work... I know that I can stop by and drop off my jack for an after canon of mead but I was always too busy).

How about you?

I'm not the captain, I just dress better than he does.

see more shows; spent a lot of time working this year and missed that a lot.
Everyday is a challenge and gift

DeadBishop

Spent more days working that wandering, plus I missed a number of days of fest due to work (which has never happened up until NOW >:() so I missed a great deal of opportunities to shoot this year.  Never wandered down to the enchanted forest.  Did almost no shopping, yet probably spent more money on food and beverages than I ever have in a season before.  The only shows I actually got to sit down and watch were Terpsichory, Morris Dancers, and Vilification Tennis; I missed everything else I wanted to watch.

When you die can you donate your body to pseudo-science?

My camera never made it out once.   :'(

Had new garb for the whole family, no pics.

Onlyy saw Vil "Ping-Pong".  Bummer.

Still had a BLAST!

I really wanted to make it to Fest Friday, but maybe next year.
I wanted to listen to All the King's Men.
Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.

I was able to get everything I mostly wanted. I guess the thing I missed most was not being able to go every weekend and wear all my garb, I still had plenty to wear. (The wife keeps asking me why I STILL have so much and keep getting more).

I would have like to see J Pheonix's new shows, I did see the tortugas.

I wish I would have drank more Mead thru the run, I made up for it the last day  :P  Thanks to whoever told me about Egyptian and raspberry! (DB?) That was a treat.

I wish I could have hung more with people.

I wanted to do the smoker and the feast. Jenn and I are def. doing the feast next year.

Thanks to Toar for showing me those dragon flask fillers, I was able to pick up wine topper too. thanks to Jib for telling me where to get those round ball flask.
Knight, FOP, Pirate, Woodsman...I am a man of many faces.

We got to do everything we wanted.  It was just so good having VV here this year.  It's been too long since we strolled the grounds together.  Oh, and him in a kilt!   :P

We'd really like to do a group feast thing. (was that a "wench mouth"?) :o   I've never been, never really wanted to go but, if a bunch of us went it would probably be wacky big fun.   Anyone have thoughts about it?

Nothing clever to say here.  Not enough caffine yet.

I worked cannon-to-cannon @ the mead booth.  I think I took ~ 3 half-hour breaks all year.  I was also busy breaking everyone else in my area and others.

Needless to say, I didn't see a single show or walk into a single shop.

Next year, things will be different.

Lady Figaro

Fig and I have never done Feast, either.  We really would like to.  If we are here next year, we'd definitely be up for a group feast!

1.  I missed meeting several of you in person.
2.  I didn't get to purchase several items that I had planned to.
3.  I didn't get to try out any of my ideas for characters on street.
4.  I didn't get to learn to drum as fast as I had desired in order to participate in at least one drum jam.

Goals for next year:
Meet those that I missed.
Save up & purchase desired items by next season.
Work on my characters in the off-season in order to be better prepared for next season.
Learn to drum!

Muffin

Right now it feels like I missed seeing and doing everything... LOL! but I know that is not true... Would have liked to have seen a few more shows and maybe done a little more shopping, felt like the shopping part was always rushed..

Was a fabulous season, and I will miss all of you that I won't have the chance to see again until next season!!!!

I didn't get to be as social as I would have liked to though I was more social than last season.

I didn't get to play with Terpsicory as much as I wanted to but I did get to play with them which was awesome.

I wasn't out everyday but I got to work two really cool shows at work.

I'm not allowed to drink at the moment so there was no mead for me and that made me sad.

While I did see Zlich and Vilification, I never had the attention span for any musical groups so I completely missed hearing D&D perform one last time.

I didn't get to play with the Peasants as much as I wanted to. But I did get to play my new drum for the Peasant Dance this past weekend!
