I missed it.  Who won?

[moderating self]
At the masonic lodge we're instructed not to talk politics because of our heartfelt desire for peace and harmony among brothers.  I don't want to talk politics here for like reason.

from the forum guidelines...

The Topics of Politics and Religion
Due to the sensitive nature of the subject matter, the increased potential for conversations to become inflamed, and in order to maintain a family friendly atmosphere we would like to ask all visitors to RenaissanceFestival.com to refrain from discussing the topics of modern politics and religions of any type.  We understand that this may be a controversial request, however, we feel that this is necessary in order to ensure the best possible experience for the majority of our visitors.  Please be advised that posts violating this guideline will be immediately deleted, and members who repeatedly post such subject matter will be subject to account suspension, or deletion at the Forum Administrators discretion.
Exception: The discussion of historical politics as it relates to the time periods, persons, and social structures associated with your typical Renaissance Faire will be permitted.  However, any discussion that violates other Forum Guidelines will be deleted.

So what are you doing this weekend?
I'm going to BARF!!!
You're going to...wait...WHAT???

Capt Gabriela Fullpepper

Did anyone really win it?

I made some great observations during it, does that count. McCain NEVER looked at the camera to address the people, nor did he ever look at Obama and address him at any time. He always looked at Jim Lehrer.

Obama looked at Jim, at Mcain and the camera when speak and I got the feeling he was really addressing the people and not just the host. I thought it rude of Mcain to never once look at Obama to address abything Obama said about him.

So did qnyone really win? My vote hasn't changed from it, but then again it was made up a long time ago

indeed. obama kept referring to mccain by his first name. at some point, the moderator was like TALK TO HIM, HE'S STANDING RIGHT THERE. guess it made it a little more personal.

and if you want to know who won, check the polls. a consensus of sorts has been reached, i think.

always used worms myself...please to note John's post.

(I know...sucking up)

Morgan Dreadlocke

Rubber crawdads wi' a treble hook here. Worms go all mushy over 100 degrees.
My intentions are to commandeer a venue, sail to Tortuga, then pick, strum and otherwise play me weasily black guts out.

Noble Dreg

Using real crawdad's for bait is a sin...I would rather eat a mess of creole crawdad's with a good brew than any fish I'd catch in a pond!  Ettouffee, my fav southern dish.

How come they don't sell crawdad's in Minnesota?
"Why a spoon cousin? Why not an axe?"
Because it's dull you twit, it'll hurt more. Now SEW, and keep the stitches small
