Wow! Under $2.00 a gallon. Who would of imagined this a couple months ago.

I paid $2.29 yesterday, here in La Grange, TX.  Lowest I've seen it in long time!  I actually filled up my truck for less than $58.00! Woo Hoo!!!  ;D

The outskirts of Charlotte, NC seem to be in the 2.49-2.69 range, with a 10-15 cent jump if you go down into south carolina.

I saw 1.97 yesterday at a Kroger in the northern suburbs of Houston.  Never thought I'd see it below $2/ gallon again.  I know the gas prices are lower because the economy sucks (I read an analogy somewhere that this is sort of like losing a whole bunch of weight...because you're sick), but it sure does make life easier for those folks who can now afford to drive to work.  Hopefully the food prices that were driven up by the high gas prices will start coming back down too.

I saw in the Charlotte Observer today it's running $1.99 in Union County, SC which is just south of the NC/SC border!  HUZZAH!!!!!!

$2.27 in Columbus GA.  $2.23  in Crawford Ala.   Filled up the motor home for under $100.00.  Back in May on Memorial Day weekend when we went to the St Louis faire it was $3.65,  OUCH That hurt.

Ok here is the lowest I've seen posted as of yet $1.89 BP's silver  ;D. I saw diesel at $2.98 at BP, too.
