Edit: I snowed last night!! Well, as close as TX gets to the equivalent of snow.

 My friends!! Take pity on me!!  After losing over three hundred pounds I find the I do get cold now!!  70 is comfortable but 60 is COLD!!

Firstly, CONGRATS ON THE WEIGHT REMOVAL!!!! and second, I totally agree with you.
You deal with a different sort of cold than I do.
You have that humid factor that does not really occur this far North.
From being on the ocean, freezing my bustle off, I feel your chillblains.

I am on the Gulf Coast and at 50 degrees right now. It is biting cold out. I have the heat on and am wearing long underwear.
When the South gets cold, we FREEZE! It is the kind of cold that goes right through your bones and if you don't.....HOLY CRAP! I left someone something smoking in the captain's cabin!

OK I am going out of town this weekend but I'll take a notebook and do some writing.

I can understand your discomfort, though. But take heart, you'll get use to climate changes soon enough. Having recently relocated to the home mountains I froze me arse off the first winter. Now it's like I never left.
