I only got a hundred bucks, and I lost my caddy. My nephew's dad got him a set of really nice golf clubs, so now I'm stuck with carrying my own.....

This sucks!!! It'll be fun, though. There's always a silver lining.

I woke up for the third day in a row with just unbelievably perfect hair- then I took a shower and it was still perfect. How does this happen.
I also got cashews and some deluxe mixed nuts- which is great since I didn't even ask for them.

I got a Dremel, wool socks, and a $100 gift card.

I am off to Tandy shortly to take advantage of their after Christmas sale and use a $10 gift card I recieved before the holiday.

To top it off I have got to clean out a room in the basement and was given the OK to set it up as a craft area with my leather stuff.

St. Nick treated me good.

Manwariel

I got a digital camera that I picked out and helped pay for and have been using for a month or two now, a memory card, $30, and some miscellaneous stocking stuffers, like a scissors sharpener and a pair of fuzzy blue socks. :)

Tipsy Gypsy

We usually do something big togther for the house; and a couple of small items for each other. The big item this year was new recliners. He bought me a couple of sweaters from Victoria's Secret, and something lacy for my birthday today, and I gave him a digital BBQ fork and a carved wooden box with a big Celtic knot on the lid.

Christmas was good, kids got tons o' swag but behaved very well.  I really think they are begining to understand it's more than a toy extraveganza but a time of joy for family and friends.  I spent half the night putting together a foosball table, took hours!  Of course Apple let us down for the 2nd year in a row.  Kids got 16G ipod nano's, one doesn't "click" most of the time, gotta go back.

I got the day off with Nyte....we sat at home all day and watched movies.  Might not seem like a very exciting holiday, but since we haven't had a day off together since Thanksgiving, I could care less that I didn't get any physical gifts this year.  I was just happy to not be at work.   :)

Patti was VERY good to me!  Well...she said it was Santa...lol!

My MAIN present was that she let ME pick out the paint and wallpaper for our RV!  Of course, I'll have to do the painting, but she is an EXPERT with the wallpaper!

My TOY was the new pistol crossbow she bought me!  Not the cheezy plastic Taiwanese model either...a full alloy frame 80 lb pistol crossbow, with a VERY sweet trigger (this thing is as accurate as a .22!!!), excellent microadjust sights with calibrated thumb wheels with detents, and the crossbow frame itself is set up to accept scopes, red dots, or lazers in the built-in rail!

She bought me 27 aluminum bolts as well, with screw in field tips...broadheads are available...how cool is that!  YIPPEE!!!!!!!!

HERE kitty kitty!  JUST KIDDING!!!

Patti got from Santa a new set of cabinets for the RV, including ALL the cabinet door throughout redone in beautiful real woods...a brand new complete set of Wolfgang Puck pots and pans with some widgets thrown in...a brand new set of the JAPANESE made Wolfgang Puck knives, including steak knives and the wooden holding block...4 DUCK theme humorous T-shirts, and Narnia 2, Prince Caspian...lol!

Mom and Dad bought us a brand new Under-The-Cabinet Black and Decker convection/toaster oven to complete our kitchen remodel...SWEET SCORE!

I got some gift cards, cash, a nifty cocktail shaker with a recipe dial on the side, just turn the dial to what drink you want and the recipe shows up in the little windows down the side of the canister!  Also got some fuzzy slippers, socks, a Cuisinart food processor/blender I've been wanting, a V slicer, and some movies.  One of my favorite gifts was a simple little silver metal book mark with dangly beads and charms hanging from it-a shamrock, celtic cross and a fairy.

white trillium

Christmas at our house was a little more subdued than in past years.  The kids (well, the boys) wanted gift cards and our daughter wanted a cell phone as well as some new microbes (last year she received e-coli, this year she received salmonella..in a petri dish!).

Kurt received kilt socks and a belt for his kilt and he gave me Fable II and the latest Great Big Sea cd.

We got together with his side of the family on Christmas Eve and my mother in law gave each family a brick from the old Memorial Stadium and a new book on the history of the University of Minnesota football team (my father in law played for the Gophers in the late 50's and early 60's...he passed away in 2004).  It was a meaningful gift and even the teens teared up a bit.

We won't see my parent for a few weeks (they were supposed to spend Christmas with us but my Dad had surgery on Monday...nothing serious just no fun to travel).

Oh and Kurt and the kids each received a dvd....so we have a few movies to watch.

All in all a nice holiday, kind of cool that the kids are beginning to see past the gift giving and enjoy the family time.

I received a few warm sweaters/sweatshirts that have various types of fake fur/fuzzines to them and a winter coat. I think my biggest gift was the happiness I got to see when people opened the gifts I gave them.
