Just saw a message on Facebook from Daniel GreenWolf ( http://www.danielgreenwolf.com/ ), saying that his performance contract was being withdrawn/canceled since Four Winds Ren Faire wasn't happening this Spring in 2015.

Their web site ( http://fourwindsfaire.com/ ) and Facebook page now only mention the Oktoberfest and Haunted Castle at Four Winds in October, 2015.

It seems like it definitely won't be happening this spring, probably never in the spring again. From Facebook, it's said, "Our normal run dates have become too crowded with Renfaires to be effective," and then hints at a permanent fall date.

Looking for a Renfaire to attend in northeast Texas this spring?  This will be the first year for the Avalon Faire in Kilgore.  Their dates are March 25 - April 28.  Their website is www.avalonfaire.com

Aside from the entertainment listed on the site, look for Leghorn the Piper, the Tulstin Troubadours and others.

Wanted to dig this one up. Anyone know what the relationship is between Four Winds Caterbury Fair and Four Winds Ren Fair? Are they the same name for the same fair?

Yes, Chuck.  Those two names are for the same fair which will be held only in October this year.
