Drumming corps??

I always notice pictures of people with drums at MN ren fest. Is this a cast thing? or is this an "Everyone can play" thing? Just wondering if it's open to all, where and when do I need to show up to join in? Thanks!

Do you mean the drum jam at the end of the day? It's pretty much just participants playing, but you wouldn't be turned away if you joined in. If I recall it starts around 6:30 and ends when the closing cannon goes off at 7.

There's also a booth that sells drums and didgeridoos that occasionally jams late in the day with the local bagpipe band that plays at fest but that's not so much an open thing.
