Good grief but we are a dull lot in the off season!

How about a little holiday fun?   VV will be home next Thursday...  Does anyone have time open for a pub night (garbed or not garbed) this month? 

*the only reason I mention garb is because someone was just talking about "Christmas garb" over on the sewing thread *

I'll be down late on Friday the 18th. Then on the 19th, there's Dregs Xmas Show at 10:30p. If you're going does it work to get together for drinks/dinner ahead of time?

We're going to the 10:30 show for sure.

I'd love to hit the pub or something!  No idea when I have time off though.  My lazy manager only gives us our next weeks hours 3 days prior, so it's hard to plan.

There are quite a few things going on around town this holiday season.  Last weekend we went to the Court Revelers Cd release at Tillie's Bean 2 and then to Vilification Tennis later that same night and the Dregs family friendly holiday show on Sunday.

Terry Foy will be at Tillie's Bean (2 - I think) again this Friday performing "Two Gentlemen of Extinction" - we're going to try and make that (at least Amanda and I are - Kurt has to work really early Saturday morning).

And we're planning to go to the Dregs show on the 19th - Kurt is working Saturday afternoon - evening (busy season for the non-profit!) but we might be able to make dinner.

I'd love to go to a pub night...except I won't be back to the cold land of Minnesota until December 22nd and sadly I'll be leaving again on the 3rd of January...but if anytime between holiday chaos and family time and New Years eve stuff anyone would like to hit up the pub, I'd be interested!!!  Miss you all!

We totally missed out on the Dregs show.  I was really bummed.  Mike had one good day off the plane then got hit with a very nasty cold.  He's been trying to get well for days.  Really puts a damper on my plans.    Uh, that is the family plans.  Yeah.  Celebrating Christmas, that's it. 

Still hoping we can all do a pub night or some such event.  We'll be gone for New Years and VV heads back around the 13th (fluid date of departure).

Any thoughts?

How's the weekend of the 8th look? I could use some pub-y goodness. Especially since I had no idea job #2 would take advantage of EVERY SINGLE DAY I gave them for availability and I am currently scheduled to work every single night in January.

Thankfully I typically get removed from the schedule every other weekend at job #1!
