I don't know what rock i've been hiding under, but I TOTALLY forgot about Opening Weekend being this weekend!

Now, to see if I can somehow get myself in order and get up there on such short notice (DOH!)...

Are there any other major weekends that should have a high concentration of us all going, other than Opening?   Just wondering, in case we can't make opening...

JuJu, there will probably be a large group for Celtic/Highland weekend.
April 30 & May 1 - Highland Games
May 14 & 15 - Celtic Music Festival

Pirate Weekend May 21-22!!! Come celebrate my legality with me!! (I turn 21 the Monday before that weekend).

That is also the PP and I's 10th wedding aniversary Weekend.  I can't drink but I plan on enjoying my weekend very much, even more since it is ALSO your birthday El. :)
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

Half price Scarby tickets on Groupon for the next 15 hours...

And yes... I bought a pair, so now I guess I HAVE to figure out a way to get us down there at SOME point this season, huh?  Wish it could be this weekend, but probably not...

Getting my stuff ready tonight. You can lose the ?, I'm flying solo this faire since I'm out at Norman, OK for 3 weeks of training. Been taking walks around the pond here feeding ducks just before sundown to try and climatize to the intense, searing heat,  but I'll bring a small cooler of cold water to help just in case...

If it gets real bad, I can lose the vest and go with just the shirt, otherwise its just mundanes which I've not worn since the 2nd time I went to a ren festival. Course I got nothing fancy, but then the peasant look is at least much cooler in the summertime  ;D

I'll have a few hours driving after being at class all day, so if I don't make the pre-cannon gathering due to sleep and such, I'll certainly make the post parade one.
I clicked "change profile" but it still looks as bad as it did before! Please fix!
