So much devastation and tragedy all at once.  I'm sending lots positive healing and good energy to everyone down in Joplin, MO.

It's so had to see all the destruction. I'm praying for the animals, too.

My mother is a cook at the hospital in Springfield.  She said the helocopeter had not stopped landing from when she came to work at 1AM yesterday morning, and when she left at 3 that after noon.  When she had finished her normal duties, instead of going home she stayed and made extra sandwiches to give to the people waiting in the waiting rooms for news of family members.  As much as my mum can be a jerk to mean, she does have a good heart when it comes to helping people. 

Also the Southwest Missouri Humane Society has been dispatching teams to Joplin in order to take care of the lost and displaced 4 legged victums.  They are in need of help as much as the human agencies do.  Here is a link to their site if you want to help them.
