Shopping's OK, going the Mall of America would simply be for the experience itself. I can't imagine getting that close to such a place and not being able to say I'd been there. Maybe even a t-shirt for Bit-o-Pixie that says "They went to the Mall of America and all I got was this stupid shirt."

Better know by some of as the "Mall of Gomorrah" "The Commercial Cathedral" "The Fall of America" or "Camp Shoot-me" after an incident over a team jacket a few years back.

The frugal part if me is bouncing with excitement. Just reserved the rental car, by waiting until now the price dropped $4 per day. Of Course, it could have been $2 less than that if I'd been willing to pay for the gas on a mid-sized SUV.

For any of the out of towners that haven't reserved a vehicle yet, HotWire.com has the SUV's for $11.95 and the economy and compacts for $13.95. Hope it helps someone.

Fig, I'd love to have you and your Lady's company at any point. I'll be in on Thursday afternoon and don't know what, if anything, the Baron and Baroness have planned. I plan to attend Faire Fri, Sat, & Sun, hopefully making the Feast of Fantasy one day and the Queen's Tea another. I know that Saturday night we definitely intend to be at your place but I also know that you'll be working. I fly out early Monday.

By the way, are the any sushi lovers in the Minnesota gang? I'd love to have some while I'm out and about, though it's definitely not a requirement. If there's someplace or thing that is unique to Mn (like the MOA), then I'd rather do that since I can get sushi anywhere.

The wife and I are planning to be there Friday and Saturday, Esc. I work the bar both Friday and Saturday nights. But any time you want we shall do our best to be at your beck and call. Right now is getting a little harder though. Brandi's mom isn't doing very well lately. Her cancer is really sapping her faster each day. But I'm sure we can work something out. This is a very special occasion after all though, and she knows how excited I am about getting to meet you.
