Volunteer cast wanted Jan./Feb. for 2009 Fishers renfaire in Indiana

Grace "Rum" O'Malley

Volunteers are wanted to play cast at the 2009 Fishers Renaissance Faire just north of Indianapolis, IN.  The 2009 faire will be Oct. 3rd and 4th on the grounds of the living history museum Connor Prairie.   Informational meetings and sign up will be Jan. 25th, 1pm, 2009 at Holland Park, 1 Park Drive, Fishers for Shakespeare shorts players for  "The Merry Wives of Windsor" and general cast.  Feb. 8th, 2pm, 2009 at the Fishers Public Library for general cast infomational meeting and try-outs for the Fantasticals.  The last opportunity to sign up will be Feb. 28th, 1pm, 2009 at the Fishers Public Library, 5 Municipal Drive, Fishers for general cast and try-outs for Madrigal Choir.   New cast must be 15 years old at the time of auditions or accompanied by a parent/guardian who will also be a cast member in the same guild.   All new Fantasticals need to be 16 years old at the time of auditions.  Those under 18 years of age must have a parent/legal guardian sign the new 2009 volunteer waiver for consent to join the cast. This year is our 5th year Anniversary Celebration Spectacular, so make it your New Year's resolution to grab some friends or family and get them to join our fun cast family! We currently are looking for individuals to play peasants, middlings, constables, fantasticals (English mythological creatures), male actor for Falstaff in Shakespeare short play "The Merry Wives of Windsor", Queen's household servants and men for the Queen's beefeater guards.  Stock costuming will be provided to beefeaters, constables and household staff.  We are filling all roles quickly, so hurry and sign up this February!
