The Castle Ronneburg, is located in the district of the municipality Ronneburg - Altwiedermus Hesse, Germany.

A castle is first recorded in 1231, as description of an altar "in castro Roneburg". But the main keep is arguably older. It was probably already done by Gerlach I of Büdingen in the first quarter of the 12th Century.

Devanahalli is a fortress located 35 kilometers (22 mi) north of Bangalore city, India.

The history of Devanahalli dates back to 15th century, when a family of fleeing refugees from Conjeevaram (modern day Kanchi), camped near the foot of Ramaswami betta, east of Nandi Hills. The castle was originally built in the new settlement in 1501 by Malla Baire Gowda. Today the historic monument is in danger as local officials allow squatters to vandalize structures, tear up plazas and construct homes on the fortress's property.

The original stone keep of the Barony of Gragan was built by the Chief of the O'Laughlin in the 13th or early 14th century. It was abandoned in favor of a 15th century townhouse was was in turn abandoned in favor of a 17th century mansion.

The Castle of Santo Estevao (Bastuco) is located in the village of Santo Estevao in Portugal.
