The following is my opinion only...

If you don't see any other movie in your life, go see this one. In IMAX 3D if you can, or at least standard format 3D if not. Cameron proves that if you have to spend $300M on something, this is a good way to do it.

The effects are impossibly realistic. The world called Pandora and it's people will really exist in your mind. The story line is a bit predictable, but if you don't try to be sophisticated and over-analyze it, you can enjoy it as a simple tale, well told. James Horner creates a musical score that drives the emotion of the film with intricate precision. The combination of all the above results in an epic creation.

Movies rarely get stuck in my head, but this one has. I want to run off and become a Na'vi after seeing it.  :D

I saw it Sunday and it was an excellent made movie.
There are many places where compromise is expected;
LOYALTY is not amongst them.

Being 15 ft tall: Great
Being incredibly fit and toned: Super
Having a sexy scantily clad girlfriend: Awesome
Being so totally in tune with nature: Priceless
I hope my life is an epic tale that ends well and everyone likes to read. --Grovdin Dokk

The Rogue Gambit

it was a great movie, just the 3D digitial theater i watched it in made everyone in the place sick. But other than that it was a really well done movie.
Gambit, Whiskey boy, Kilt boy, and many others......

I, too, saw the movie in 3D... not IMAX though. It was great. It was the kind of movie where I felt like Pandora was real and I was actually there. I love it when movies or books can "transport" you into their realm.
Anway... great movie.... four thumbs up.... worth the money.... go see it.... go see it in 3D or IMAX 3D  ;)

I saw the previews for it the other week when we went to see a christmas carol in 3d and i do want to go see it maybe after Christmas

PG13 Fern Gully, but the visuals were great.
I didn't see it in 3D because I have double vision, and that is a really good way to get sick.
However, we have a Santikos theater and they use all Kristie DLP HD projectors, so even normal movies look awesome compared to other theaters... this one was truly amazing - they even managed to get the facial expressions down.

I'm not nearly as eloquent as everyone else to sing the praises of this movie. I'll just say that my Scottish ancestors are spinning in their graves from me seeing a movie in the theatre twice in one week. :o

Still don't have the words... but it's now one of my all time top five... and I'd be hard pressed to rank it in that list.  It was 3D for me, although I can imagine it would be incredible in any format!

Oh, and I'll be paying the $10.50 to see it again this week, and taking my daughter this time!

I saw it last Sunday in 3D. I still haven't found the proper words to convey what it made me feel. WOW, AMAZING, INCREDIBLE...those words just don't have enough power behind them.

It was good movie with great special effects, outstanding acting, but way over preachy and the military just bad has Cameron never heard of a military adviser?  Come on using a shuttle for a low attuned slow moving bombing raid with the worst layman idea of a daisy cutter is just plain stupid.
