a little bird has been spreading rumors that there might be an impromptu drumming circle within the seven sisters saturday nite, jan 23rd. the same little bird also suggested there might just be a keg of fine new belgian ale on tap...but only if drummers, dancers, and possibly fire twirlers appear to draw the earthly spirits of sherwood out into the night air.

could be nothing more than a rumor, but this one particular little bird has a pretty good record of its rumors being true.

round up your lawn chairs, drums, percussion instruments, a song in your heart and a dance in your feet and come on out.

we are celebrating a great week of work on the grounds.  NO DRIVING ON THE GROUNDS PROPER.  the road is fine and folk can park behind booths or in the meadow before the grounds.

it's all about the journey and the people we choose to make the journey with

I would consider it, but the last time I drove 2 hours to go to a drum circle, my friend and I were the only drummers and dancers there! Can this little birdy please confirm that there may or may not be a good number of drummers and dancers there???

I think all the birdies are already there.Just a guess but think there will be quite a few there. I am going on the morrow. Alas. No drumming for me!

My dear Queen Bonnie, I would have greeted you this afternoon, but you were deeply engrossed in the photo shoot around 4 PM and I didn't want to get in the way (who needs an old phart in the way?).

In between my volunteer work all over the area, I saw many of the folks in garb and representing the spirit and soul of this Faire. We are rolling and the direction is all uphill at a grand speed. Come February 27th, we will be ready to make Sherwood Forest a place for all to gather and enjoy.

Dear Mike! I would be happy to greet you at any time! You are NOT an old phart! Your work is also essential to the faire!
I was busy with the photo shoot- Standing around looking magical is such hard work!- but there is always time for friends! I did not espy you- I am blind as a bat!LOL! Give me greeting when next you see me!
Hugs!

For this coming weekend and future weekends, I have three drums in my travel trailer that I don't use as my hand coordination has gone south over the past year. Yep, when you get to 60 years old, the brain can't tell the hands what to do.

If you want to bang on a drum and don't have one, I'll bring my three down to the stone circle Saturday night each weekend. Treat them kindly. They have had a good run over the past few years.
