Help wanted:

Need fun, dynamic volunteers interested in joining the cast of Indiana's biggest renfaire: The Fishers Renaissance Faire located in the 'burbs just northeast of downtown Indy.  We are looking for inventive historical based street characters: Billericay peasants, middlings, Queen Elizabeth's court, jailors, beefeater guards, Queen's household staff; willy fantastical fae and fantastical creatures from English mythology, Shakespearean actors for short scenes from the bard, Madrigal Choir singers (male and female voices), dancers, volunteer variety acts (jugglers, fire-eaters, stilt walkers, etc.), Living Chess Match actor-combatants and especially looking for those interested in portraying this year's legend theme characters based on the heroes and villains of King Arthur's Court, Peter Pan and Hook, and Robin Hood's Merry Men. Please keep in mind all volunteer cast must design and construct a faire approved costume at their own cost based on our costume classes and guidelines for period approved garb.

Those interested in auditioning please come to one audition session on Feb. 6th at 10am or 2pm or on Feb. 21st at 2pm. Auditions are located in the conference rooms of the Fishers Public Library, 5 Municipal Way, Fishers, IN.  You may prepare a short monologue, skit, dance or song for the audition or we can provide example monologues for a cold reading.  We will do individual auditions for theme or specific character acts with the option for group auditions if space becomes crowded.  For more information on the Faire go to www.fishersrenfaire.com.  For more information on cast auditions, please contact Andrea Fivush, Cast Director at nikkifiv@sbcglobal.net. The Fishers Renaissance Faire is a non-profit fundraising event sponsored by  Fishers Sister Cities Association for educational experiences and to promote cultural awareness with our beloved Twinning City of Billericay, England.
