Drat, the plague, (flu), has taken hold of our household and instead of using our vacation time for Pirate Weekend at fair it is being used up by the plague.  Just our luck, taking vacation time when we could have used sick time!  Grrr!  Stupid flu!  Looks like we're not going to make it to TRF this year   Stupid flu.

AWWW.. I remember last year I came down with strep throat a week prior to Faire... I kept downing Tylenol and antibiotics and was a wonderful actress as soon as hubby hit the door home from work, because I knew if he had the slightest incling I was that sick he would have called the trip off.

After all was said and done he told me he knew I was sick?! He just admired my determination. LOL

Perhaps you will be well enough to attend by the weekend? (one can hope)

If you are going to be there on Pirate weekend-Nov1&2- you will have the dubious pleasure of meeting my Evil Twin Pirate sister, Capt Black Bonnie Mac Fearsom! She looks just like me- but I am the pretty one! LOL!
My kitty Tachi is doing better! The vet reduced his insulin dose and that is helping!
See you soon! I can usually be found inside the front gate on Sat. And at the Meet and greet at the Prince of Wales pub around noon.

We be closer now,Lafayette, la and makin for home port today. Soon, very soon, we shall test the mettle of the tx renfaireers!

Okay, who's in for this weekend?

I know it's likely to be slow compared to most weeks, so I'd like to know if anyone is coming out to the McLotofus area. If not, I'll be staying in tent city for the security of my goodies staying put. I may just stay at tent city anyway, not decided yet. If the group is big enough, I'll go to playtrons, so speak up!
