If you spend more money on fabric/garb/trims/notions accessories than real clothes!

For example:  I went shopping with a friend-a pair of old navy jeans were $24.99 I balked at that, but yet at JoAnns I will easily drop $100-$150 in once shopping trip on fabric for my Ren fair Garb :)

Just cause my pirate outfit probably cost me more than all my other clothes combine isn't a bad thing.

When people know the best thing to buy you for your birthday is garb and other accesories to wear with your garb.

When all your clothing designs are related to faire.

That's almost exactly what I said when it rained for ten minutes at KCRF last Saturday.  It cooled us off and got rid of the less "dedicated" patrons! ;D

You start calling swine flu the piggy plague because it sounds miore rennie that way.  (I either heard it from someone or came up with it while I was MDRF last weekend.)

If regular faire goers are convinced you were a cast member at the faire because of how detailed your outfit is! (I was asked by a regular patron to this one faire if I was a cast member because of my boots and because of how naiive I was. HA HA HA)

You're discussing how to work Thanksgiving when you 'need' to work in a trip to TRF & trying not to tick off both sides of the family.

*checks bank account* Yup... But it's for a good cause, so it's justified! :D
I have one more paycheck in between now and faire... then I get paid again on the first day of faire. :D And most of it will still probably go to faire!! Haha

And: You know you're a true rennie when the thing you're looking forward to the most about having kids is making their garb and dressing them up to go to faire!
