Hello,
I am looking online for nice leather Rapier frogs, anyone know any websites of artisans that make them?
Maybe stuff with imprints, maybe celtic, some colors, etc...
Thanx!

I made mine . . . but I suspect if you search for renaissance fair leatherworkers or the like, you'll find quite a variety.

If you want to see some truly awesome work check out Christian Fletcher

He primarily does custom scabbard and hilt work now but he used to make a great rapier belt and frog set up that I believe he still does if you call or email him. If I remember correctly the belt and frog set ups were $100-150 but I may be wrong.   If nothing else just scanning through is gallery will give you some ideas for cool leather work.

I haven't yet had cause to make a rapier frog, but I wouldn't mind trying my hand at it! Here's a picture of the ax frog I made for my son:

Is that knotwork something along the lines of what you have in mind when you say you want something Celtic? Or were you thinking more along the lines of a Book of Kells kind of animal, like this?

I haven't really made anything to sell in the past- leather work has mainly just been a hobby and something I do for my friends and family- but I had so many people at the festivals this year wanting to buy my gear right off of my body that I started thinking "Hey! Why not?" So if you're interested in a custom piece, I'd be more than happy. If you have a FaceBook account, look me up- http://www.facebook.com/#!/?ref=home Let's talk.

My favorite was Dorsett House, but it appears they have closed.
Silvermane carries one similar to what Dorsett made.
